Starting out in a career can be daunting.

Maybe you just can’t make up your mind. You see all your friends getting ahead and you worry you’ll be left behind. And you want to make the right decision. You are not alone. Don’t fret, there is hope. I can help you find a direction that brings out the best in you. I can help you develop the confidence to do it your way. I can help you reflect on the future of work and how the job market will evolve so that you choose sensibly. I can help you with personal branding.
First Job
Perhaps you are working in your first job. You tell yourself it is only temporary, as it is not very interesting. But you have no other plans. I can help you understand what engages you at work and what type of work aligns best with your personality. We can look at how you can improve and make an impact where you are now. Every role can be a steppingstone to something better. And if a change is needed, I can help you move into more suitable work.
-
Are you worrying that you won’t be successful in a new role?
Are you experiencing challenges in your relationships, be it with your line manager or direct reports?
Do you want to achieve better work/life balance but don’t know if it’s possible?
Are you motivated to excel in your career and understand the importance of investing time in your development, but unsure of where to begin?
I can help you.
As working professionals, we often don’t take the time to stop and reflect. We are too busy. But research has shown that taking time for reflection boosts productivity*. We become more self-aware.
I can help you examine your behaviour and how it is influencing your work experience. I can help you build better relationships. I can help you identify what motivates you. I can help you deal with uncertainty. Together we can find more meaning in what you do. We can start you on making progress in your career either where you are or elsewhere.

Has your confidence vanished under the sofa somewhere and you doubt you’ll ever return to the job market?
Do you need help identifying a new direction that both engages you and fits your current life situation?
Do you need help with selling yourself after a career break?
I can help you.
Returning to work after a long career break sucks. It just does. You are not alone. You have lost your confidence, you have fallen behind developments in your industry, recruiters won’t return any calls and your situation feels insurmountable. I have been there. But with a little finesse and lots of perseverance you can return. On the way, you may need to upskill, reskill, reach out to your network, volunteer, take a demotion, or go self-employed among other activities. It may not be easy.
Working together, I can help you shift your focus to what you can control. I can help you talk confidently about your background. I can help you identify the transferable skills you developed during your break, and help you build your story. I can help you chose a direction that will give you purpose and keep you engaged in the long-term.
Most importantly, you will need to start believing in yourself again. You owe yourself that. I can help. You will find you have a lot to offer.
I’ll use my expertise in driving change to help you.

Being coached by Tia has helped me in my thinking. After each session I felt positive, motivated, full of insight and armed with a clear forward plan. I particularly liked the visual tools Tia used to challenge me and make me see things in new ways. She is knowledgeable and her deep experience in personal and professional development, psychology and human behaviour clearly shines through. I would gladly recommend Tia as a coach to everyone in my professional and personal network.

I cannot recommend Tia enough. Her dedication, support and depth of knowledge in coaching and psychology is truly impressive. Whether dealing with personal or career related topics, Tia will help you get clear on your priorities, identify your strengths and untangle any issues so that you can move forward with clarity. On a personal note, I really enjoyed having some monthly time focusing on ‘me’ and thinking about the future – this is unusual in our busy lives.

Tia is a perfect coach if you need to structure your thoughts. I always ask for a session with Tia when I have a complex business decision to take: I come in with a cloud full of contradictory thoughts in my head and I come out with a clear picture of what to do next. I couldn’t recommend Tia more – she saves me so much time helping me to gain clarity on what I really want and how I can deliver the best performance. This gives me so much power and energy and I couldn’t be more thankful for that.
